Add and manage your apps

1. Add App

To start using OpenMediation to monetize, you need to add your application to the OpenMediation panel.

If your app has been published in Google Play or App Store, you need to add the APP ID/APP URL of the app; if your app is not published in Google Play or App Store, please use a temporary name. After publishing in Google Play or App Store, add the APP ID/APP URL of the application. Please follow the steps below to add your app:

 

Step1: Navigate to the Overview page

Log in to OpenMediation and navigate to the Overview interface. You will see Add App at the top of the application list, click to start adding an APP.

Step2: Add your app

  • Published applications:

If your application has been published on Google Play or App Store, you need to select Yes, enter the App ID/APP URL of the application, click Search to import application information, check COPPA Compliance, and click Add to complete the addition.

  • Unpublished applications:

1. Add unpublished applications in the OpenMediation 

If your application is not published on Google Play or App Store, you need to select No, then select the operating system iOS or Android of the application, enter the App Name, check COPPA Compliance, and click Add to complete the addition. After the app is released to the store, you can manually link to the app store.

Tips: Usually OpenMediation will have filling or more filling after the application is released.

2. After the application is released, associate the application with the application store in the OpenMediation:

When an unpublished app is online, you need to associate this app to the app store. Click Apps, select the relevant application in the APP navigation column, and click App Settings. In the App Info module, click LINK YOUR APP WITH APP STORE, enter the App ID/APP URL, click Search to import the application information, click Save to complete the association.

Step3:Get your App Key

Get App Key: After the App is added, click Overview, and you will see the App list at the bottom of the page. There is a corresponding App Key after the App name, which needs to be written when the developer integrates the OpenMediation SDK, because the APP KEY is the unique identification code of the APP.

  1. Navigate to Overview, you will see the App Key on the right of the App name in the application list, and you can view the copied App key content after hovering the mouse.

  1. Hover the mouse on the chart of the key and click the copied icon to get the App Key.

 Tip: App unique identification code-APP Key is used to later integrate the SDK, create a placement, and obtain the unique calling authority of the required interface in the formal environment, such as advertising call, management advertising platform, platform data analysis and other functions.

2. Manage your app

You can control the status of the application through the switches in the Status column. The default status of new applications is enabled. If you want to pause the application, you can click the switch, and then your application will stop running.

Tips: Please operate with caution, after closing, no more ads will be displayed.

It is a children's online privacy protection law, which protects children's personal information from commercial websites

 

4. Cautions

  • When creating an APP, the published application needs to fill in the APP ID/APP URL; the non-published application needs to fill in the APP Name and APP ID.
  • If duplicate apps are configured by mistake during the APP configuration process, please be sure to confirm the APP Key corresponding to the current APP, because the APP Key is the unique identification code of the later integrated SDK. If it cannot be matched, it will affect the advertising and monetization income.
  • You must accept the COPPA terms to add an APP.

Next Step: After completing the APP settings, you need to set the Placement to further improve the realization configuration.
